About

Gabi Perez is a Cuban-American illustrator and motion designer born and raised in Miami, Florida who is currently living in the New England area. They received their B.A. in Digital Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida in 2019 and their M.A. in Creative Business Leadership from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021. They are currently working as a designer at OrangeYouGlad, a creative studio in Brooklyn.

Gabi is a lifelong doodler who’s passionate about creating delightful illustrations inspired by retro cartoons, the outdoors, and music they love. They draw inspiration from museums, daily walks, and critters they come across—domesticated or not!

In their spare time they love making Instagram GIFs (search “gabicrista” to find some on your Instagram story or by clicking here), drinking too much coffee, and taking pictures of clouds or their sweet cat, Goose (short for Goostavo).  If you have any illustration or motion design inquiries, please reach out!
