You’re in the Middle

I decided to animate a previous illustration as my submission for the Association of Illustrators 2023 World Illustration Awards. I wanted to create a run cycle that was affected by gravity and additionally have several “layers” to created this effect. Below are the individual run cycles and a rough completed run cycle which guided the whole animation. This was created frame by frame on Procreate and assembled on After Effects.
